Planning Your Ride
We look forward to your visit to Bailey Mountain Bike Park. We offer shuttle service for downhill specific mountain biking trails on weekends and some weekdays. We limit the number of riders each day to prevent excessive wait-times for the shuttle which is why we ask you reserve your pass in advance. Should you choose to ride the park at the last minute or without a reservation, we recommend you check the availability of passes for the date you want to ride at our online store.
Bailey Mountain Bike Park features Blue and Black level trails. If you are a beginner to downhill or gravity mountain biking looking for green level or beginner trails, please look forward to visiting us when these trails are available.
You will need a full-face helmet.
Full face helmets are now available for rent at the Park.
We highly recommend a bike with at least 6" of travel to enjoy all features and trails in the park.
While a bike with 140 mm of full suspension travel is ridable, a downhill specific bike with 200 mm of travel is recommended to ride and enjoy ALL features and trails in the park. Please visit our FAQs for more bike specific information.
Your bike will need working disc brakes. Rim brakes are not acceptable. It's your responsibility to make sure your bike is in proper riding condition. Our goal is to keep you safe.
We have tools for minor adjustments available.
We highly recommend knee pads and protective gear.
Consider knee pads or knee/shin guards, elbow pads, goggles, body armor, neck brace, gloves, and close-toed shoes. Long sleeves and long pants can protect against abraisions and itchy plant contact. Knee/shin guards and elbow guards are available for rent at the park.
Water, food, snacks.
We offer water (complimentary) from a sports cooler on the deck. We sell snacks in the shop. Food trucks or other hot lunch/food options are available some weekends.
We have temporary restroom facilities available.
Bring whatever else makes you comfortable while you are riding.
