Downhill Southeast Race
Downhill Southeast Series Race 3 - March 20, 2016
Bailey Mountain Bike Park is the 3rd and final race of the Downhill Southeast Race Series by Neko Mulally. Created to offer some pre-season race action, the series will take place at three venues
located in Tennessee and North Carolina.
The idea behind the series is a casual and fun race environment right here in our own backyard. We will offer extended shuttle times, adjusted operating hours, and discounted park passes specifically for the race weekend.
The race here at Bailey Mountain Bike Park is Sunday, March 20, 2016.
The Park will be open to Registered Racers only on Saturday and Sunday, March 19 and 20.
Carpooling is an absolute necessity! Thank you in advance for helping us to accomodate all of you by riding with your buddies and teammates. Parking will be available in 3 lots. Priority will be given to those who carpool in our main lot at the base of the trails. We will offer additional parking at the circle where the lots are for sale; racers will enter through our residential gate--past the main gate--by our mailbox to access this lot. We will offer offsite parking as well. More info about this lot is coming soon; stay tuned!
- Welcome 2 the Jungle and Jumanji (Black Diamond/Advanced Trails) to the bridge (over it) and then down to the Olde Gregg go-around.
All riders will be required to fill out a waiver. If you have already completed a waiver for 2016, you will not need to complete another. Riders under 18 will need to have a waiver signed by their parent. If you don't have a waiver, you will not be allowed to ride. Please call us if you have any question or concern about who needs to complete a waiver for a minor. 855 743 3962. Please keep in mind, the waivers for the Park are separate from any race waiver needed by the race promoter.
If this race will be your first visit to Bailey Mountain Bike Park, we encourage you to check out Planning Your Ride. Full face helmets are mandatory!
We are working on obtaining our second shuttle truck. We hope to move approximately 120 riders per hour to the top of the mountain.
