Thanks for stopping by! Welcome to Bailey Mountain Bike Park. We are very excited to bring you an amazing opportunity to ride DH in Western North Carolina!
Bailey Mountain is located only 20 minutes from Asheville near the quaint college town of Mars Hill. This amazing gravity-specific bike park features over 1000 vertical feet of elevation otherwise unheard of in the Southeast. Loaded with a multitude of hardwood trees and giant boulders, we are certain the natural landscape will appeal to the rider and spectator alike. This breathtaking mountainside land is being developed and designed specifically for downhill mountain biking.
We are currently operating with shuttle service on Saturday and Sunday and Twilight Riding on Fridays. Advanced reservation is recommended to ride the park featuring 15 downhill and flow trail segments. Skywalker, Dr. Jekyll, Mr. Hyde, Salvador's Slalom, Little Red Riding Hood and Cowbell are the intermediate level or blue flow trails. This spring we added Banshee, Tunnel of Love and Wormhole to our collection of blues. Welcome 2 the Jungle and Jumanji are the more traditional or technical advanced black diamond trails. We have a great new tech trail designed and built by Neko Mulally this past winter called Blue DH. Olde Gregg is our new double black diamond trail featuring big step-downs and now a go-around. Black Mamba—just opened this summer—is our newest black diamond trail. We'll continue to develop a variety of downhill trails for your riding pleasure. We will offer camping inside the park on improved campsites very soon. Ride clinics have begun. Take a look at our race and event calendar to learn about what's going on at Bailey Mountain Bike Park!

We hope that you are as stoked as we are! Bailey Mountain offers some of the best and most unique DH and gravity riding in the Southeast and in all of the US... year round!
Here's a look at our most recent race on the Black Mamba black diamond trail to Cowbell, an intermediate level flow trail at the base of the mountain. This advanced trail is steep and off camber with big boulders and some gnarly rock sections. Black Mamba is our newest trail in the park and features black loamy dirt and bright green foilage all around.
Thank you to Videographer Hiram Stelzig for the sweet perspective.
